"We love and die because we must."
I planned to leave this section empty, but maybe society already contains too much of the "empty". I could tell you where I grew up; where I've worked, places I've visited, but ultimately it’s inconsequential. I'm privileged to have experienced love, some happiness, joy and admittedly much sorrow. Diversity, acceptance, compassion, in relationships, culture, humanity, society art and music, I value above all. Suzanne Vega's work embodies these qualities and so much more, the visceral, something transcendent. She touches on themes and musical threads that reflect shadows and light, between the "Red and the Gray". Vega’s music makes the world seem like a better and braver place, and a happier one.
