Nerves of steel, I drive 84 students to school in a single bus. It's a banana, it's a Twinkie, no...it's a school bus! Not to worry, the occupants have been systematically subdued and are mostly harmless. And I, as the driver, have a very healthy relationship with my "happy place".
For stress relief and fun I knit, spin fibers into yarn, design wearables, sing and work out. My favorite kind of fitness activity is belly dance. I'm not very good at it, but it's really fun. Where else can I wear jingly jangly bangles and baubles and make all the noise I want? Call it art in motion. I also enjoy a good novel from time to time. Historical fiction is usually the order of the day.
I am happily married to the most wonderful man on the face of the planet. We are going on 5 years now, and not a single argument so far. Let's hear it for good communication, YAY! We don't have children, but instead have rabbits and fish. Not in the same cage of course...the fish in one tank are all named Eric after a Monty Python sketch about a fish license. The other tank has a big fat goldfish named Dudley. The bunnies are Willie and Gidget. Both lops, both litter box trained, both exceptionally sweet. They run about the apartment like puppy dogs during the day. At night we shut off the light and they run to their cage treats at bedtime. Such a quaint little life we lead, but I wouldn't change it.
