I have been helping one of my musician friends' music formation Gelka with business correspondence for years. He has been my neighbour in Budapest for 12 years now(we live in the same house) , and music duo Gelka has had 4 great tracks released in the past years by Spanish label Cafe del Mar. For over a year Gelka has had a fine English producer, who is a dj,  and works for BBC as well :)

The English label has recently released some tracks by Gelka on compilation, and next to Gelka from Budapest, it features other Wax On artists from Leeds, Brighton, Dublin, Paris, and Cologne, for example. The English producer, next to already UK released Gelka tracks, is also managing Gelka's coming UK full album - check out Gelka's myspace page, where you can listen to great Gelka down-tempo tracks.

Anyway, Gelka artists like my poetry:) I have already written lyrics to one of their tracks-  (in the future we will see where it will land...) I hear, after the Gelka album is out, there is a possible UK (and Europe continent) tour. www.myspace.com/gelkamusic

enjoy their music. have a nice day!

    best wishes to all, Zoli

my musician friends' duo Gelka has a track 'Under my star'  feat. singer Beth Hirsch on the brand new Cafe del Mar (vol. 15) album- check out the great track on Gelka's myspace page- www.myspace.com/gelkamusic

Anyway,an interesting reference to Suzanne can be found in the press section of Beth Hirsch's website ( www.bethhirsch.com)  about her 'P-Town Rubies' sound material:

    P-Town Rubies

    • "When Suzanne Vega moves to London gets into hip-hop, R&B, jazz, rap, trip hop and drum -n- bass to satisfy her musical wanderlust absorbs the whole damn *** and churns it out in the form of her own musical synthesis, this is what it'd sound like. Luv it and luv Beth."

    wishin' all a nice weekend!
    best, Zoli
