I love B&C so much, but wonder how it was received commercially (not that it's the most important aspect). Critically, it was mostly declared as a spectacular comeback, and I agree (although SV never really "left" in my mind - I saw her twice within a month in 2004!), but nowadays, good reviews do not unfortunately guarantee good sales. Sigh.

Did anyone go to the SV even at Barnes and Noble in NYC recently? I was sorry to have missed it.

Well, I know that in its first week, it debuted at position #129 on the Billboard Hot 200, selling 5700 copies that initial week.  It did far better, though, peaking at #24 on the "Top Internet Albums" chart.  If you go to the Wikipedia page for Beauty & Crime ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beauty_%26_Crime ), you can see various peak positions for the album in various markets.  I cannot even begin to guess what the cumulative sales are for it, though, whether we're talking cumulative domestic USA sales or European sales or Worldwide sales or what have you.
