For Suzanne and her band members, as well as Towies, who may want to have an idea of the country and venue of Suzanne's first show for 2008, here are some useful links:
Essential information on S'pore for visitors including customs, electrical voltage etc

S'pore by the way is currently 13 hours ahead of New York (12 hours in the summer) The climate here is hot and humid so light summer attire is recommended - shorts, tank tops, sandals, slippers, caps and shades! (But if Mike wants to take up the call to run for president, he may want to bring a formal suit! LOL)

Venue of Suzanne's concert - a classy place for a classy act!

If by chance there's time for a short vacation before the concert, the nearby islands off the east coast of West Malaysia (Redang, Perhentian etc) with their white sand, clear waters and marine parks are great holiday spots especially for snorkling/diving: http://www.island.com.my

Rolling out the red carpet for Suzanne and gang,

The acoustics will be good and the venue is just about the correct size.  I have waited 20 years for this and 11 days to go!

Primetime Morning on Channel NewsAsia will have an interview with Suzanne this Friday (Jan 18), as stated on their website (http://www.channelnewsasia.com/ptm). The time slot for the interview segment is not given, but I'm sure it'll be archived, so do check back at http://www.channelnewsasia.com/ptm/interviews/index.htm

Also, after the Primetime Morning appearance on Jan 18, Suzanne is scheduled to appear briefly during the lunch show (10am-noon) [that’s Thurs Jan 17 in New York 9-11pm or Jan 18 in London 2-4am!] on www.radio913.com The host’s name also happens to be Suzanne! Suzanne Walker. The station has been playing Frank and Ava throughout the day since Monday and Walker has also been asking listeners to send in questions they’d like to pose to Suzanne. Another radio station, http://www.class95.sg is also promoting the Jan 19 gig and is giving away a copy of B&C (courtesy of EMI) and a pair of tickets to the concert each night on the Love Songs show (9pm-1am).

I guess Suzanne and band will be hitting our shores very soon! WELCOME!!!! Hello

Goodluck everyone. Want u to have a great concert, and a bit sad i couldn't make it.

But, see u in Osaka, Suporn:). By the way Sup, activate pressure code FSK (T),. For once, odds aren't too bad with 3 concerts in a row in japan. I have to believe i only lose in casinos, and lotteries, and soccer bets.

ok, gotta finish the luggage. A 20 hour trip awaits me. I'm currently missing the warm weather of Singapore (yep, the one that over-dried my hair and burned my skin without sun exposure)

    Paulo

    ps: F= Freeze Tag; S = Song of Sand; K = Knight moves; (T=tired of Sleeping) - odds 4/10000000. why >__<

    - Are you serious?
    - Yes, i am. I'm your guardian angel.
    - Amazing!I've never believed in that.Am i dead?
    - No. You're just hallucinating.

The videoclip is now uploaded on Primetime Morning's website: http://www.channelnewsasia.com/ptm/ Yes

Have a good rest, Suzanne! Thanks for taking time out to do all the interviews, despite your early morning arrival - it's great just knowing you're here...

I'll see if there's a way to post some version of the radio interview that took place earlier this morning. Once again, thanks to Dinesh for the heads up on the interview schedules Star

Tomorrow's gonna be a beautiful day!

P.S. Paulo - thanks for all your wishes, and will try whatever I can. But you know well enough that your presence is essential whenever a miracle is required Stick out tongue Keep our fingers crossed for next week too.

Hokay, here's the file for the radio interview conducted earlier this morning (it's about 18MB, 19 mins long). I must apologise for the very poor recording quality - i had to do it rather surreptitiously at work, using the ipod. heh.

I don't know about you, but the interviewer cracks me up...

Thank you again for the effort, suporn. Smile

I saw Wendy... she was about 5 seats away from where I was sitting (row B). I think she brought her family there. Smile

So, did you guys enjoy the concert? I certainly did! I'm so happy to be able to hear "The Queen and The Soldier" live finally! She played quite a mix of old and new songs. Very good setlist.

There were a lot of people at the autograph session and I got tongue-tied the moment I met her. I think I mumbled silly stuff... I can't even remember now! She must have thought I'm nuts. Stick out tongue I got a couple behind me to take a picture of me and Suzanne. Can't wait to show it to my friend, Jude. Yay! Shame I couldn't get to meet Mike. I've always wanted to meet him in person. Heehee.. he was kinda goofy tonight. Fun fun... Smile

Thanks, Suzanne, for the great start to this brand new New Year. It's going to be a better year than the last for me! It'd better be! Hope to see you back in Singapore again one day! Smile

Many thanks Suzanne for all the songs as well as the last autograph of the night.  Have a safe trip to Japan.  Hope to hear you sing Night Vision the next time.

    Good night

Great show, Suzanne...well worth the 20-year wait!

Was at Row L but the view was still great. Finally got to hear you play Gypsy live. :) :)
A bit disappointed that Bound wasn't part of the set, but I guess the 2x2-song encore made up for it, especially Queen & the Soldier and Small Blue Thing. :)

Quite tickled at the way Mike and Doug entered the stage by miming to the lyrics of Tom's Diner at the start. That was a sure sign that it was going to be an entertaining set.

Hope you guys enjoyed your short stay in sunny Singapore and that you'll return sometime soon.
