As I live two blocks from the Whitaker Center, I'll definitely be there! (Are you going, Rick?)

    See y'all there, I hope!

    Great!

I wonder if Suzanne knows how close she'll be to Chocolate World... We're kinda low on chocolate ourselves - guess it's time to stock up! Afternoon with Milton, evening with Suzanne...

Me too! She's such a nice person to talk to - it's really terrific the way she goes out of her way to meet us.

I just realized this is my 4th concert since April! I think I might be giving Uncle Willy a run for his money...

    John,

Try these numbers on for size:
6 in 7 days (each in a different county and 2 states)
    13 in a 12 month period (3 states, 4 different batches)

Although for country count tHe BlEePy OnE may have the record: US (2x), Norway, England, Scotland, and I think 1 or 2 more European countries.

I think David Hammar may have 6 or more at the same venue.

You may add Denmark to her list. That's where I met her.

    I have only 4 countries :-(

    Uncle Willy,

You are one lucky person! I have tried to see her about 9 times over the last 10 years and have never been able to do it. It has always been work or the last time, I was in surgery. I was so bummed out but now I am not, because Tuesday night I will be in my glory, because I am sure I will see the best concert I have ever seen.

John, are you really going to Hershey Park ? I only live and work 1.5 miles from there.

    Paul-

We won't actually be going to the park - not enough time. Jeanette can't get the whole day off. We'll get over to Chocolate World, then prob. A&M Pizza in Hummelstown for dinner before the show. I hope the Whitaker Center has a bag check, otherwise the chocolate might melt!

The biggest advantage to living two blocks away from the venue is getting to send off my impressions while Suzanne is probably still in the Green Room! Here we go...

As always, it was a wonderful time seeing Suzanne and the band perform. (So many "oldies!" You'd think she had a retrospective album out, or something...) Glynn looks well, I finally got to tell Mike V. that he was the reason I started playing bass, and I got to meet fellow Towies John and Raindevil (and families). DJ Hammar even made an appearance! It was fun, to put it mildly.

I brought my little brother along to see the show, and he enjoyed himself, as well.

Thank you Suzanne, and Mike and Glynn, (and the rest of the band...and Patty Larkin, who did a great opening act) for a really fun show (nice mask tonight, Mike!).

    Peace,

    therikh

What a great show! It seemed at first Suzanne was struggling to warm up the audience. I talked to a few people at the break, and many had come to see Patty (a local favorite I guess) and many - including the couples in front of and behind us - hadn't really heard Suzanne's music before. I think by the time the Mike Mask came out, though, the crowd was completely won over. And that last encore - Wow! A really steamy version of Stockings with just Suzanne and Mike.

It was nice to see Glynn here - he's such a great guy, and really takes good care of us 'Towies. I told him before the show my girls were worried about him! He's always been really great to them, and remembered them from the last time in Virginia.

Of course Everyone was terrific afterwards. It was nice to see all the people we've been writing to in the flesh and together. I think Dave Hammar has the market on signed artifacts cornered!

Thanks again Suzanne for the wonderful time!
Special Thanks to Paul for starting this thread and alerting us to the show!

PS - good story about the Gore's. I knew that guy had potential...
