This gig is well documented since we spent all day filming the sound check over and over for a DVD we are working on called “Live From Stephen Talkhouse” which hopefully will come out in November of 04.

We played over and over again and spirits were high. All the hamptonites came out with their solitaire diamonds hanging around their necks. I dressed all in black as usual, and everyone else dressed in white. It was hot.

I like playing this venue because it is intimate, only 125 people or so and I have played there for a while now, over the last 10 years.

I was nervous in the beginning, and you can tell because I was blinking a lot. by the end of the show though that had gone, and the audience was great,there was a great spontaneous spirit, a lot of banter, some from a lady from CNN who asked lot of questions. I got a beautiful bouquet of roses from someone who didn’t sign his name.

I had sort of taken a chance in even asking Chris to film the show since we had not gotten re-record rights, which I had asked Nancy to get. I joked with the audience and said this was the REAL end to the show since Connecticut didn’t count.
