Has anyone heard Gwen Stefani's solo album?

I haven't, although I'm looking foward to do so. I have only heard the new single, and it sounds good.

I don't think reissues count as "2004" albums.

Yes, I thought they didn't. There were some good ones this year.

How is the new Christine McVie album

I like it! It sounds familiar to her sound in Fleetwood Mac, not too ground-breaking though. Very pop/rock-ish with a bluesy feeling on a few tracks. Her voice is still very good and instantly recognizable. If you like her work in 'Fleetwood Mac' ('The White Album') and on 'Rumours' you'll probably enjoy 'In The Meantime'.
