as per Catherines post on the Shepherds Bush thread, she has made it very clear that i have offended her. I don't know what more to say than i'm sorry and that was not my intent even though i knew that pointing a finger at one person might make them feel defensive. This was my post, my view and therefore I am well in the minority so just because i have written it doesnt mean that anything written should become a law. That is why i added in '...a conversation' in my title as i wanted to promote a discussion of adults that i hope we all are.
In conection to Catherines post specifically, i dont think a rule book is needed as we can work this out if we want to. lets face it after a flutter of a few pasts in the last few weeks i will go back to lurking and no one will be the wiser and everything will continue on as it should be. i think the MB is great for Suzanne the most and all her fans from around the world who can make new friends as Catherine has and as i myself have. That is the beauty of this group, the camaradarie. Have i spoilt that togetherness by airing my view in the best way i thought at the time? I do actually believe this is a 'free space' so i would hope not.
This was going to be a longer note answering various statements made in Catherines post but i dont have the heart to prolong this on the MB. I started it, i regret it, i hope to stop it right here.
Strangly when Catherine has calmed down and realised it was only me and not the whole MB that used her as an example i am actually looking forward to her report on her london trip. Ironic?

David Hammar - im glad Lisa J responded to your post because that is how i had read her initial 'complaint'.
