I saw Natalie Merchant (NM) on Friday January 4 at the Hiro ballroom (prolly would be a nice venue for SV), and wow, what a show!! Wondering if any Towies attended.

I have read that around '92 (and probably prior), SV really appreciated the music of NMk, then with the 10K Maniacs. NM talked lots about her career and her lack of recent commercial success due to some label troubles and the sharp decline in CD sales. I continue to buy CDs but wonder how NM and artists like her can still maintain a presence and reach out to newer, likely younger fans.

Any thoughts?
