I echo Gabor's comment: The Budapest concert was great!
My friends and I didn't stay for the Sting's perfomance. Ricsi had been working all day, and the rest of us were already tired too. Besides, for us, Suz was the reason to go amid such a press of people. Getting out through such an enormous crowd was not easy! (Btw, where did you hear the one million estimate, Zoli?)
This concert didn't feel nearly as personal as last year at Margit Sziget. The multiple fences and the hundred-odd meters between us and the stage were disappointing. It surely could have been far worse, but we were early enough to be at the fence behind the sound booth (just left of center ;-b ). Still, I enjoyed the show very much. Suz, you played all of Ricsi's favorites and most of mine. You rock!
I was surprised to see a familiar face in that sea of people. Almost within arm's reach, there was Szilagyi Zoltan! I wonder where the other towies were...
Zoli, I snapped a photo of my friend during the show. If I aimed correctly, you're in the pic too, along with that guy with the strange Adidas-logo earring. I wonder if he thought I was taking a photo of him..
Also, during 'Maggie May', a woman within the fence was doing a cool ribbon dance. If I get off my rear and develop these pics soon, the whole 'Tow can see 'em.
Okay, this has been a long post. I'll finish up with the play-list. But first, one remark. Limp Bizkit's version of 'Behind Blue Eyes' is great, but it's incomplete. Suzanne's rendition is truer to Peter Frampton's original in keeping all(?) the lyrics. Fantastic job with that one, Suz! I love the song even more now.
