Hi Everyone,
The Herndon Fest has indeed made the cut into the documentary, including Towie signings at the end.
We're submitting the documentary to festivals throughout the winter and then looking to get it to tv, depending on how it does on the festival circuit. The commercial DVD will be much down the line (probably XMas 2005, so nothing for purchase for some time). But, we will be making this a special experience, with lots of features and bonus material, and will be overseeing the production of that ourselves, here at Mooncusser. Perhaps will do a special Towie Edition?!
As an update, our preliminary rough cut did not get accepted at Sundance this year. Not a surprise, I must say, as it is still very rough. We're getting a full length, more shaped version ready for submission to South By Southwest in Austin and will have the film running cohesively as a final edit in January, when we get serious with having it seen.
Here's a link to our revised opening, which is a response to a public screening of rough cut clips that we did last month at the Cape Cod Film Series. Also a link to the old one- we'd love to hear what you think of the two and which one you like better, and how the latest can be improved.
