Well, not to start a new thread: today in a contest called "Best Portuguese in History", the dictator Salazar got elected by 41% of 200.000 portuguese that participated. Surprise!

So i thought about "Institution Green", though it didn't play anywhere around me. The only change being the fact that  we have been the ones who've built the own walls that become our prisons, and we did it with applauses and cheers.I wonder when people will stop reinventing the past to challenge the present(and reinventing their very own past) , and they'll actually understand they've built their own walls and only they can overthrow them by, for once, not walking backward and forward , between past and future, but simply by looking at themselves in front of the mirror.

Ahhhhh....I LOVE this new station (or satellite, whatever it is)they've hooked up at work!  Yesterday 'Luka' came blasting through the speakers!  I swear, people buy more wine when Suzanne is on...the carts are overflowing!  I'm so proud—although my co-workers know watch me keep time to the music and probably hate me by now.   'Tom's Diner' was also played twice...ba-bye, Brittney!

    Two in one day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There was a brief cover of Luka on the Ellen show (on May 1).  The house band "The Dan Band" http://www.thedanband.com/ did a bit of Luka as they were going to commerical.  It looks like it is on their cd http://www.amazon.com/Dan-Band-Live/dp/B0007X9TY8

I will try at some point to pull the video off the VHS and post it somewhere.

Goodness, I haven't posted for ages and everything has changed on this site! Hopefully this will work ...

Heard a whole hour-long session with Suzanne on BBC Radio 2 yesterday, it was WONDERFUL! New album sounds so exciting, I can't wait Smile

I hope Suzanne and all my old Towie friends are well.

You can still listen to the BBC Radio Show with Suzanne, they have it in their weekly archive.

     Here's the link: http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio/aod/radio2_aod.shtml?radio2/r2_radmac_wed

    (hope it works)

but listening to the 2 hours, I was a little disappointed about the  small "SV content". I had hoped it would be more songs to listen to and more interview.

    Well, better than nothing ;)

    Nothing much (not much),

    Moni.

Suzanne was featured in Cartaz, in Sic News (it's the national CNN, and Cartaz delas with big movies/singers/cultural events). Cartaz opened with a 7minute long introduction of Suzanne's return to music "6 years later" . She was shown singing live, being interviewd, and walking on the street and in a park. Among other things, Suzanne mentioned that "Songs in Red and Gray" would most likely be her last personal album, she had no intention to do another one. "Beauty and Crime" was said to be Suzanne again at her best.  They also showed Suzanne getting ready for a music video recording, or pictures for the album, I can't be sure.

So today is a big day:). i was smiling all over during the interview, and it was a fantastic piece of news.

To anyone who can get Sic News (sic noticias), just tune in later at night, because they will repeate.

    Happy 5th of June everyone!!!!

    Paulo
