Hi to all,

I am Christos Sotiropoulos, from Chania, Crete, Greece. I have been an old friend of the undertow but dropped out when the mailing list became a web forum. I just couldn't keep up with the "new thing". It was easier for me to open my mail and read messages rather than try to find anything new written at the boards.

Anyway, I am still alive and hope everyone is doing ok. Special greetings tot he ones I still remeber: Zoltan, Zeynep, yuv, wendy-o, vlad, uncwilly, bleepy, sharon, philipp, miriam-k, fatima, djhamma and sorry if my memory fails me and cannot think of anybody else.

I don't think I remember you, although I know who just about every person on your list is, but I have been with the Tow since even those e-mail only days, also.  In any event, it's great to have an old Towie come back to the fold.  YAY!

Hi Christos,

 Welcome back!! Of course I do remember , great to hear from you again! I also recall that some years back we wanted to compose some music track where you were supposed to be contributing with your special wind-instrument (I don`t remember its name now) - maybe part of postponed songs... Do you still practise? Similarly to Zeynep, I`m really busy ( mostly teaching, and writing a language teaching book, and then some other important projects). 

Greeting from Vienna where I am now for the weekend( with my mother and her partner) visiting my sister, her partner and their 11-day old baby...which means I have become an uncle !:)

Zeynep, thanks very much!  it was very special to experience that uncle 'title' feeling 'live' in Vienna! :) A very cute baby, and let us all sleep relatively ok:)

Another 'interesting' was to use my sister's Firefox in Vienna ( I posted my previous post via her computer), together with her fingerboard there... it has some slightly different 'system' from mine... So I have just corrected something I noticed in my previous post in this thread...

Very long time no see... How are you? What's new with you?

I myself have gone through quite a few changes. I'm married and have a beautiful little 5-month old baby girl. I graduated from Haifa University and have been working continuously for the past 5 years. Oh, and I've done some traveling here and there.

Hope to hear from you more frequently ;-)

She is the light of my life and my wife's and we adore her. She's 7 months old by now.
I'm answering you more than a month after your comment because I'm very much behind on reading Undertow... I've had a very busy month.

It seems adequate to use this thread to say hi.

I know I haven't been the best of friends, silent all these months, but there are times when words seem too artificial.

Anyway, all is well here, and I wanted to send a collective hug to those who still remember me.
