Hi - I have a question: On the upper right side there is a subscribe button. But whenever I click on it, an xml-site is displayed. Is that a bug?

     Cheers,
    Annika

    Hi Annika, Helen, and Cath,

To subscribe to an RSS feed, I think you'll first need to have an account with a news aggregator (or news reader) such as Google Reader (http://reader.google.com/) or Bloglines (http://www.bloglines.com/). There are a lot of such news readers out there, and if you have a Yahoo account, My Yahoo! also allows users to add RSS feeds.

Anyway, once you have a news aggregator, you can then copy the URL of the RSS feed (typically a raw code file like XML) you want (in this case it would be http://rss.mac.com/suzannevega/iWeb/Site/Blog/rss.xml) and add that to your news aggregator to subscribe to it. Hence, any time you log in to your news reader, you will be able to get any new updates of Suzanne's blog automatically.

Here's a good site for finding out more about RSS feeds: http://www.rss-specifications.com/

Hope it all works out for you! Feel free to PM me if you should encounter any problems setting it up.

    cheers! sup

Thank you, thank you, thank you Suzanne! Loved your music ever since the 80's. It was a pleasure seeing you and your band play at the Park West. Great new album and great concert! I was thrilled to meet you after the show. You guys got one heck of a trip after Monday, so get lots of rest, drive safely and have fun. See you next time.

    Suzanne,

Saw your show in Pittsburgh Friday night and I just wanted to let you know that I thought it was fantastic!  I've been listening to your music since the 80's and it's been a pleasure to watch you evolve over the years into the performer you are today and I'm so glad that I finally got a chance to see you perform live!  What a show!  I took a friend who wasn't familiar with your music  and now she's a fan too!

Thanks for the great show and the great music throughout the years!

    Sharon

Suporn, thanks for jumping in and helping! You are a wealth of knowledge.

In case anyone hasn't checked this week, Suzanne has made some lovely additions. I imagine on her short break at home between shows. What a trooper!

On a short break at home dealing with the laundry perhaps?!  A trooper indeed, and thanks for returning to Europe again so soon - we are happy!! :-)

I tried after reading your explanation Suporn - thanks - but it says 'there was a problem try again later' ... which I did, same message again.  Hhmm.

    Helen.

No, not on a short break at home. Still on the road. Four in a row. From tonight (Minnesota) till Friday (Iowa City).

Hey Suzanne and Paul. This is Randy from Folk City--bouncer/bartender circa 1982-1986. I wanted to let you know how much I'm digging Beauty and Crime. It brought me and Audrey back to NYC (we've been living in Cali for 15 years now) in a hauntingly familiar way...looking forward to seeing your show at The Coach House on 11/16.

    Best,
Randy Mastronicola (Robbie and Marilyn's long time friend--still.)

Lucky people in Minnesota and Iowa.  But maybe you guys will get a break at home before Berlin!  Look forward to reading more later and seeing you in London Smile

Thank you for nice pictures, Suzanne. My favorite: nostalgic suznava, pretty girlz in mallorythemerchgirl, stylish readytogo and beforemakeup - you look charming without makeup, do you know?

And I took a chance to read about Paul Mills/Poez, looked thru his new book lines and tried to recognize how was it in the beginning of 80-s.

    Thank you for your confidence.

    ...

Well, now I know itSmile Thanx to dear suporn and The New York Times http://www.suzannevega.com/forums/20963/ShowThread.aspx#20963

    What a moving story.
