I have been reading some of the Towie Trees and figured this has something to do with favourite songs and cd-compilations, but what exactly is in the Towie Tree? When someone posted he had been listening to someone else's tree, I got a bit confused...thanks!

Jetske, you pretty much have the right idea as to what this whole Towie Tree is. There is a thread in the Towie Tree section called Towie Trees. Cams pretty much explains the whole thing there in his first post.

It's Cams' FAQ page where the whole thing is explained. In fact we don't download the songs. We burn them on CD or record them on tape and send them to each other via snail mail. For further questions please consult Cams' FAQ page.

Thanks for letting me know. Errr... is there another gap or something? It's just that, if I remember correctly, I shouldn't receive Cams' CD until July. And I still haven't had Andras' and Zeynep's CD's... What's happened to them? I do remember the holes in the tree, I just thought the original order would be maintained...

No, I haven't seen Andras' or Zeynep's compilations either! I guess they must have fallen into the hole somewhere.

and also I have to note for the moment that I have not heard any Noir Desir and I probably can't now that he beat his girlfriends brains in! but I suppose tabloids being tabloids they will still sell records! maybe-
anyway-lets not go there-
will have to think about this a bit more when I'm a bit less sleepy! Absolutely love Jim Croce though-now there's a nice memory-thanks!

yes, it's me!!
I envy you so much because of that Francis Cabrel DVD. I absolutely adore that guy! BUT - I am going to see him in concert on 6th December in Strasbourg! I still can't believe I'm going!! So, I guess I shouldn't complain... His music has accompanied me for 15 years by now. His new album "Les Beaux Dégats" is fantastic, which is no great surprise.
You're right about Noir Desir. I bought the CD long before that happened and well, I do have a bad feeling listening to them right now, too.
Anyway - if you like we could do an exchange of tapes. I'll contact you via e-mail!
