And free because the Muro Town Hall paid for it. Thank them too

Thank you, Suzanne, for coming to Mallorca and giving a free concert. No the fact that it was free, just thanks for coming. It was quite a different atmosphere to a normal concert, in the town square with all the children and the older folk. My wife and I were two of the English contingent and I know there were also quite a few Germans. From our perspective, I can say that it was brilliant. I hope it was from yours. Thanks again. Paul.

I was at your Muro-Majorca concert 23.6.03 (front row centre !!)...we met at the side of the stage afterwards.....unfortunately my wife was there too !! (Why do wifes spoil everything ?). I suspect we are the "holiday couple" you refer to although we come from near Manchester not London !

I must confess that we were totally surprised (absolutley delighted) to read in the small local newspaper that you were performing for free in Muro.

Muro must be one of the smallest villages in Majorca and is far from being a tourist town, just a local farming community.... However, given the venue and the difficulty for non locals to get there from Palma or the other tourist resorts on the island, I thought the turnout was very good. The atmosphere in the very mixed audience was totally brilliant...and we even got a contribution from the church bells (not exactly cathedral bells and not on cue !)...and the det-det-det on Tom's Diner was easily as good as the Belgians !

I look forward very much to seeing you again on your next tour...in the UK. I'm was totally horrified to read of your experience in the Manchester hotel ! Next time, give me a call and I'll find you somewhere really good to stay in the Northwest !! (And we'll find Glynn the perfect pint of Guiness !) Very best wishes for his speedy recovery ....yours with great admiration for your wonderful music.....John
