Nine Objects of Desire has some killer bass hooks. Does anyone know about the bassists on this CD? I think one of them is Bruce Thomas. What equipment was used to get such a great tone?

According to the liner notes:
Bruce Thomas plays bass (assuming this means the electric bass) on most songs. The exceptions are:
Stockings: Sebastain Steinberg
Thin Man: Mitchell Froom on "Moog Bass"
No Cheap Thrill: BT and SS
Honeymoon Sutie, Tombstone, My Favorite Plum: SS on acoustic bass.

Thanks. I lost the liner notes to that CD. I'm also wondering if it's possible to get more detailed info. Like what basses/amps were used. And how the bass was recorded (direct, D.I. box, miked amp, etc.)
