I saw the following on Suzanne's road diary section:

    >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
    We
have rearranged some of the songs to have extended parts where Bill
and Greg can improvise - "Blood makes Noise" is one and really sounded
good. We are doing this one completely acoustically, the first time I
have ever performed without the sample. It took off right away.
    >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

May I just say: Yay!! I never wanted to mention it, but the sample (to me) sounded a bit... I don't know - inappropriate, maybe, in concert. At the last show I was at, when we got to meet Suzanne after the show, I thought about mentioning that but I figured that would be rude. I love the song, and enjoyed her vocals on it that night, but I was thinking - man, I bet they could come up with a arrangement for this song that they could play rather then having this sample thing there. I am so glad to hear they are doing that. I look forward to hearing this arrangement!

Is this song not a seduction? I know it seduced me. There's hella room in those lyrics for double entendre, and the music seems to support it.

    "rising possibilities"

    nudge, nudge, say no more.

Played this song last night in tribute to the chilling New York weather we're having.

Hope Suzanne & Ruby don't live in one of those apartments that's without heat and hot water....

I love this song. I don't play it when I'm sick. I play it when I am uncertain. I hear this as a song about something that might be the first sign of something bad (your car making a noise, your computer making a noise, your lover making a noise) or that might really normal. The point is that you don't know. Happens all of the time.
