New Orleans HOB Aug 7

GREAT funny loud crowd. Pretty full house. A couple of goth chicks in the audience. I really like House of Blues. They played Timmy’s video again.

We ate really well, which is one of the reasons for even going to New Orleans. Three desserts! Key lime pie, bourbon bread pudding and pecan pie. We had a mild panic when the guitar didn’t take the same flight we did, but fortunately it was retrieved in time for the show.

Afterwards they had a hip-hop night and the whole street was flooded with girls of every shape and size and shades of brown, from the deepest richest black to the most delicately coffee -colored. Big round ones and statuesque thin ones. It was amazing, I watched all the girls from the inside of the van as they assembled to get into the venue. There was only one white guy who was part of the crowd and they were harrassing him at the door as we drove away.
