Now now, isn't that amazing….me opening this topic??? First time ever! Anyway…. HAPPY BIRTHDAY dear Suzanne, hope you have a great one with your loved ones doing things you love!
Of course I'll go and open fb and write a message there too since you seem to spend way more time there than here…anyway….. it could be a useful reminder for my forum-fellow-towies.
The times they are a-changing… Suzanne's birthday used to trigger a storm of Undertow messages in yesteryear, but all we have now are the memories of a bustling mailing list-turned-forum… I guess those Towies who wished Suzanne a happy birthday today made use of Twitter of Facebook, and Undertow is once again shown for what it has become. Sad, but that's the natural order of things, with newer and (arguably) better platforms replacing the old ones. Also, Suzanne's choice to communicate with as many people as possible (as opposed to the small group of hardcore fans here) makes some sense.
I'm not saying we should abandon Undertow, but I've come to accept that its slow descent into oblivion is unstoppable…
