A Review of Suzanne Vega at Colston Hall

June 23, 2015

tophatSuzanne just finished the UK leg of her summer tour. The Bristol Post’s Nikki Knowles reviews Suzanne’s appearance at Colston Hall, calling her writing timeless and lauding her ability to open up to her audiences.

“Vega’s stunning vocals sounded as pure as they’d done all those years ago on cassette tape, and I’m not ashamed to admit that listening to her emotive hit, Luka, brought a few tears to my eyes. She sings with crystal clarity – every word ringing true. The charismatic guitarist truly knows how to tell a story, through beautiful, ageless songs, and with the aid of a very stylish black top hat.”
